The Festool KS 120 ET-BG 230V end shield is a genuine replacement motor assembly for selected KAPEX sliding compound mitre saws. The armature is the rotating heart of the saw&s electric motor. Working within the corresponding field assembly, it converts electrical energy into the rotational movement needed to drive the blade.   • Motor sparking, loss of power or overheating does not automatically indicate armature failure. The brushes, field coil, electronics, bearings and wiring should also be tested.
