Professional M5 x 0.8 Speedtap Universal machine tap manufactured from HSSE-V3 cobalt high-speed steel, featuring a 40° spiral flute, Form C chamfer, ISO 2 (6H) thread tolerance and VAPO surface treatment for accurate blind-hole threading in steels up to 850 N/mm².

The Maykestag Code 4611 is a high-performance spiral-fluted machine tap designed for producing metric ISO internal threads to DIN 13. Its 40° spiral flute geometry directs chips back towards the entrance of the hole, making the tap particularly suitable for blind-hole threading where effective chip evacuation is important. Manufactured to DIN 376 and designed for thread depths up to 2.5 times the nominal diameter, the Speedtap Universal combines controlled chip removal, accurate thread production and dependable performance in suitable non-alloyed and alloyed steels.

The 40° spiral flute is designed to move chips upwards and away from the cutting zone as the tap advances into a blind hole.
