The Maykestag Code 1026 is a precision milling cutter designed for machining slots, grooves, profiles and other general milling operations. Unlike a non-centre-cutting end mill, its centre-cutting geometry allows the cutting edges to work across the centre of the tool, making it suitable for applications where the cutter needs to enter the workpiece as well as cut laterally. The short-series construction increases rigidity and helps reduce tool deflection, supporting accurate machining and a consistent finish.
