The KT-OF scanning roller functions as an external guide for the router. As the roller follows the edge of a template or existing workpiece, the mounted cutter follows the same path on the material being machined. This arrangement allows cutters without integrated guide bearings to be used for controlled copying work while providing precise adjustment through the separately available WA-OF angle arm.
